EMR Options

EMR OPTIONS is the umbrella name for EMR alternative settings and a range of other educational supports which are under the management of Croydon Community School. EMR OPTIONS works across the Eastern Metropolitan Region to increase the capacity of schools and teachers to cater for students with complex needs

Reconnecting Youth, Leaps and Bounds, Primary Donvale, Primary Woori Yallock Student Development Centres, the Farm School in Woori Yallock and Operation Newstart Eastern provide short-term intervention programs and support for students with social and emotional challenges which impact on them at school. It is our aim to keep students enrolled and attending their local school wherever possible so that they are able to access all the opportunities available to them there.

Applications for each of these programs close on the Friday of week 5 each term for commencement at the beginning of the following term. Forms can be downloaded from this site. Please make sure that all requested information is included so that your application is not disadvantaged.

Martial Arts Therapy (MAT) programs include Way of the Warrior programs for groups; individual redirection programs for students; staff development and professional learning. 

Our range of supports looks to cover more than just alternative programs for students. In addition to the student programs, EMR OPTIONS also provides EMR schools with outreach support, professional development, and access to secondary consultations. Programs can be individually tailored to meet school needs, both for students and staff.
